Tayler is 21 and has saved to build her own house! Here’s a word from her:
Never let a dream stay in your head.
Every since I was little I always dreamed up ideas that were way bigger then I was. When I was 13 I literally had a piggy bank shaped like a house and I would save birthday/holiday money in it for years. When I was 16 I got my first real job! (same job that I have today actually) I saved always having in my mind that I wanted a place of my own. It REALLY isn’t easy getting to where you want to be. Where there are ups there are downs. I got turned down on a home loan 2 times before it finally worked out. I kept asking “what do I need to do to make this work” every answer I got from people I listened and applied it the best I could. I put in a TON of hours, and gave up a lot of my free time for my job. In the long run it was all worth it to me. My best advice is to stick to your dream, stay focused, stay saving. No job is too small and your job is always important. Even at 16 the work ethic you show now sets the stage for the rest of your life. Find your calling out there, and work hard for you dream. 💕
