Do you struggle with bringing good traffic to your social media? Do you struggle with taking good iPhone pictures? Seems today that Instagram photos taken on a PHONE are becoming crazy good! So what’s the secret? Well let me start off with saying trust me, it’s NOT a “first picture is the best” type deal. So don’t worry you’re doing nothing wrong! But! There are ways to help!

  • The Set-up¬†

Setting up the “perfect” shot is the hardest part! what makes a good “coffee photo?” How do their picture look so clean and bright?

This isn’t one of my best shots but it really shows what REALLY happens behind the scenes! If you own a diffuser, USE IT! works wonders for harsh light!

  • composition is key (don’t center too much)
  • White is your best friend

White brings out any object! And is great for bringing in good light! This edit was just by using Instagram!

  • Editing

As long as you focus on

-Contrast (darks darker + lights lighter)

-Exposure (brightening)

-Saturation (color pop)

It doesn’t matter what editing software or app you use when it comes to phone pictures!

  • Unwanted backgrounds¬†

Sometimes you take the perfect shot and realize there’s an unwanted background in your shot! Do yourself a favor and buy the app “Retouch” It allows you to highlight something and it erases it within seconds!

for example:

So as you can see if you look at my feed looks like I got it together, well I beyond don’t! haha but that’s the beauty of editing, it helps enhance a wonderful photo and brings more attention to your feed!

  • What makes a good feed?

Think of the feel you’re going for, never ever change who are just to match someone else’s feed. Believe me there are always going to be followers who love your style! You just have to maintain it! I go for a chic, lifestyle, more behind-the-scenes look to my feed. I want to show me personally, not just my work! (:
