Lately I’ve had a lot of changes in my life but also a lot of the same schedules, to-do’s, etc. Plain and simple, life is a crazy and quite a rollercoaster, and that can be insanely overwhelming. Do you ever have so much on your mind and to do, that you do absolutely nothing? No shame to that! Well, i’ve been drawn to the ocean and everything about it the past week or so and just had to do a blog about why!
Some things we need to learn from the ocean:
The ocean is constantly busy. It is always moving, making waves. But overall when you look out past the sand the ocean is so calming and still. Just like our lives, things are always going to be a little crazy and constantly moving and changing, but we need to step back and be still. We need to enjoy the view, and calm things down.
Isaiah 48:2 “When you go through deep waters I will be with you.”
Everyone has things that they are dealing with, just in their own ways. Don’t ever think you are alone with whatever you are going through. What makes you different from everyone is how you handle each crashing wave. Are you going to let it destroy you? Or are you going to beat the crash and float above it? That choice is yours. Love your life, love what you are doing, find good friends, surround yourself with people who uplift you, be kind to others, and find time in the day to relax. Take a walk, make some tea, paint a picture, read a book, do yoga, or simply breathe.
2 Timothy 1:7
For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
